How to Install nut software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

nut software package provides network UPS tools - metapackage, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install nut

nut is installed in your system.

Make ensure the nut package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nut *

You will get with nut package name, version, architecture and description in a table
